Filabots founder, Tyler McNaney, recently secured a spot on the Forbes list for the top 30 entrepreneurs under 30 years of age. Nominations came in from all around the globe to recognize some of the most innovative people of 2017. Tyler was able to make the list for the manufacturing and industry niche. The hard work of the filabot team as a whole has not gone unrecognized, all are responsible for the overall success of the company and the future trajectory of the company.
This being a major milestone for the company that started in 2011, it should be noted that this is not the end of its ability to innovate and adapt to the changes in the 3D printing industry. The Filabot team is already working on large scale prototyping and industrial level recycling. Plastic is an underutilized resource that quite often fails to be repurposed due to planned obsolescence, one of Filabots goals is to help others recognize how this resource can be used in new ways in solving our everyday problems. By developing an effective closed loop system, plastic can be better utilized in solving the problems of the future, whatever they may be.
It is the hope of Tyler and the hardworking team at Filabot that this award will help the company grow and connect with like-minded people in the journey towards a more creative, sustainable and productive future in the 3D printing industry.
