After nearly a year of refinement, based on customer feedback and information we learned in the development of the Filabot EX6, we've released a major upgrade to the fan design of our tried and true Filabot EX2 filament extruder.
Spoiler alert: not only is this upgraded fan available in all new Filabot EX2 units purchased from here on out, it's also available as an inexpensive update to existing owners in our store.
This fan update does two amazing things, and greatly increases the value of the Filabot EX2. Namely, significantly increased run time and more consistent filament diameter.
Run time jumps from the standard 4-hours of continuous use to an impressive 12 hours. We've done an extensive amount of testing and 12 hours of continuous usage has been consistently reliable. No more need to shut down the unit for cooling.
For customers purchasing a new machine, there's nothing you need to do. We're including the upgraded fan assembly for free. Bam - easy.
For existing EX2 owners, you can purchase the fan assembly upgrade kit and install this on your existing system.
