We couldn't be more thrilled to announce that we will be exhibiting at the 2015 World Maker Faire in NYC on 9/26 and 9/27! The Filabot team will be demonstrating how closed loop recycling can change the world by making high quality 3D printer filament from shredded waste household plastic and failed 3D prints. That filament will then be used to print new, far more useful items - completing the loop!
This years event, held at the New York Hall of Science, is estimated to draw in over 75,000 people - all of whom will be treated to one of the largest and most diverse collections of engineering and science projects in the world!
We'll be tweeting and instagramming from the event, but if you can make it - be sure to stop by and say hi to the Filateam and check out our exhibit!

Bravo!! I was in my kitchen this morning, looking at the plastic water bottles, and thinking “What if there could be a way to recycle this at home… but what could I make from it… aaah ha! 3D filiment!” Then I went online to study the issue and found that you have done it. Amazing, great work! Thank you, and continued success. Paul Gunby – Natural Hi-Fi
