You might have noticed a few changes over here at the Filabot website and with our Filabot look and feel. We're hoping you like the new look and site just as much as we do. We felt it was time for an update and a reboot on our previous logo to reflect the work we're doing and where we're headed.
Our new look tries to evoke a feel and theme of sleek and industrial, hopefully still maintaining a little bit of the playfulness of our original logo. We're balancing hobbyists and enthusiasts as well as larger companies and organizations like NASA and Dupont. Working with both demographics is important to us and we're extremely grateful to be able to work with such a diverse range of customers.
The site itself hasn't changed structurally, it's just less cluttered and more streamlined. No more cross listings of products or strange categorical tags, redundant product descriptions and so on. If there are flukes, ideas, changes you don't like please don't hesitate to reach out. We wouldn't be where we are today without our loyal customers!
It is hard to believe this all started with a Kickstarter campaign. From those meager beginnings we're now shipping all over the world, talking with all sorts of customers doing all sorts of cool and exciting work with our products. Filabot is taking off and expanding. We're doing business with local companies in Vermont to source labor and parts, we're starting to hire more team members and engineers for more product development and outreach, and we're having quite a bit of fun.
The work so far has been great, but we're just getting started. We're at a good spot and we're hoping to get into more of the social processes and possibilities to close local waste streams in intentional and meaningful ways. There is always more plastic than we know what to do with!
